Aztersil (In Character)

Avonhurst From above, Avonhurst looks much like a tear drop. Dominated mainly by a large volcano, a lush and sparsely forested valley, framed entirely by hundred upon hundred of islands. Treton From above, Treton has the appearance of a serrated fang with the roots of the tooth still attached. The northern part of the continent begins at a point curving downward along the coast. The northwestern edge of the continent has a similar point, though it is a longer stretch of land and curving mildly at the pointed edge. Continuing down, the coastal edge of the continent is ragged and somewhat twisting. Chesolar Located west of Avonhurst, and just south east of Treton is the tropical continent of Chesolar. Chesolar's shape is much like a twisted oval with various peninsulas and splays. It is the smallest of the four continents, but possesses the lushest of jungles and scenery. Alka The northern most continent, Alka, is barely habitable by even the most adaptable of species. Known as Everice by many cultures, it holds very few thriving villages. Constant snowfall and unpredictable blizzards make travel a nightmare. The southern end of the landmass has more habitable conditions, with more rock and land, less snow, but solid ice. The continent itself is Aztersil’s largest, and most mysterious continent. Atlanzi (New Lands) This continent was once hidden from most of the world by the mysterial storms which still veil a large portion of the planet. The storm surrounding this landmass has cleared, and has been dubbed by most of the world as 'the New Lands' or Atlanzi. This entire continent is saturated in mysterial. It's thick in every plant and animal, almost tasted on the wind. What is known of this place by the outside world is very little, and exploration has only just begun. The indigenous peoples have found themselves at the mercy of those who would seek to claim their land. Gnuwen A small island off the coast of Avonhurst that seems to be the death place of weather disasters. Storms, winds, and showers all gravitate here from all around the world to enact their final terrors before dying out. Due to the constant rain and destruction, it has thick swamps, and a minefield of quicksand. Nayles This island is filled with lush valleys, huge steppes, and a sense of harmony no other land could dare come close to, and no being could dare disrupt. Small towns have grown from many large plantations along the steppes. Sheep and goats graze along the steppes, watched by their shepherds. Music is often heard floating around the hills from the lone traveler singing, or playing an instrument of some kind to pass the time away. War has never touched this land, and because of this it is often called the Virgin Lands. There are hardly any forests here, only bright green grass and rocks that seem to glow many colours as one watches them in the sunlight. Many different types and colours of flowers bloom all year round, and even during winter the land does not lose its beauty. Current Events Aztersil is a vast world, and any number of things may be happening across its lands at any given time. Here, any member may have their character take out a bounty on another character, setup a ‘job offer’ for adventurers or mercenaries, or create a large scale plot. Within this forum you will find templates for each. How you manage your plots is up to you. Plots can be large or small, involving many members and threads or only a few. Character Development and Concrit Creating a character is complicated and complex. It is not only creating some fictional thing, but an actual life that exists within your own mind. Getting input from others on things that you are not sure of always helps. This area doubles as a place to bring your character ideas for expansion, as well as any other writings or ideas you would like help with. Concrit, or constructive criticism is openly offered here.
