Aztersil is a place for those who have role played before, and thus should already know the rules and etiquette concerning interacting with individuals online. This page is not here to bore you with the usual rules of “do not harass other members” and such, because we are all, or should all be, old enough to understand that these things are not tolerated. The following is a list of rules that pertain to this site particularly. Please read them so that no mistakes will be made in the future. Everything here is not just what you are not allowed to do, but also lists some things that we allow you to do that may not be allowed on other sites.

Aztersil is a free form, third person role play forum. We do not have a word amount requirement for posts, but we do ask that you give enough information in your reply to allow those posting after you to have something to reply to. It is understood that threads slow down, but please keep them in at least the paragraph range.

You are allowed to double post, or triple post. If you wish to make one post the response of one of your characters, and another post another response of your character in the same thread, you are full and well free to. You may also double post to bump your thread. However, posting more than three times consecutively in the same thread will be considered spamming unless there is a role play reason to do so.

You may make as many characters as you like once you are accepted into the forum. Each character must be approved before you are allowed to role play with that character in the IC sections. You may choose to keep all of your characters under one account, or create multiple accounts, one for each character.

You must be at least 15 years of age to join Aztersil. We allow mature scenes. Be as graphic as you like in torture, death, maiming, however you like. The only thing not allowed here is sex. Romance is encouraged, and so are fade to black scenes. The power of the fade out is mighty. Please, insinuate, do not demonstrate.

Applying to magic: No teleporting or space manipulation. No soul eating, or removing the soul from another’s body. No time manipulation or time travel. Powers over light, shadow, or blood should be explained in high detail and balanced out with weaknesses.

Due to the closeness of anime influences, we are very ticky about characters having Asian influences. They are allowed, however if the player is asked, must assure the staff that the Asian influences of the character are not connected to anime influence.
