Body; Creanian body build is different for each individual. While males tend to be much more muscled than females, each individual's body structure depends on the individual's activities. Skin pigments range from dark/muted shades of pink, lavender, yellow, orange, and tan. It is very common for creanians to have body markings similar to stripes or bands. Young creanians tend to have plain markings of single color while adults will have much more numerous and bi or tri colored markings. Often creanian markings are outlined in black with inner shades or the inner shade being black with outer shades of different color. However, it is also common for some creanians to not have any markings at all.
-
Head; Creanians have a typical humanoid face. Eyes are almond shaped and slightly angled downward. Eye shades range in bright shades of nearly any color with round pupils. Hair shades range in black, brown, yellow, and white. It is common for some creanians to have streaked hair of two different shades. Teeth are pointed with front teeth being smaller and shorter than side and back teeth which are typically larger and longer. The face and head will often sport small spikes and horns. Ears extend from the side of the head, are pointed, and are immovable.
-
Spines; Over their entire bodies creanians can support spikes and spines. Spines are most typically located on the back of every creanian. It is noted that young creanians do not have any spikes or spines until they reach adolescence. Along the back of most creanians are very long spines which are attached to a muscled growth from the back which is usually three inches long. This growth acts as a hinge which raises and lowers the long back spines according to mood or will. Spikes can be found along shoulders, arms, thighs, along the back or sides of the tail, and typically any other part of the body. Spike/spine color is most commonly black, but have been known to be found in some other dark shade.
-
Tail; Creanians have a slim, medium length tail, which can often be tipped with a slight patch of horse-like hair at its tip.
-
Hands/Feet; Hands are five fingered, often clawed. Claws are dark colored in a shade matching the spikes/spines of the body. Feet are four toed. Toes are medium length which allow for gripping while climbing on rock faces/ trees/ etc.
Gender Differences- Mild height difference.
- Females possess feminine proportions. IE: Breasts, etc
- Males often grow medium length, horse-like hair around the spikes and spines on their bodies while females often grow much shorter, finer hair in these areas. However, some spiked/spine areas may be void of this hair for both genders. This is not uncommon, though it is very uncommon for any creanian to not have at least one of these haired spike/spine areas.
Habitat- Mountainous and rocky regions
StrengthsCreanians are able to use their spikes/spines as natural weapons against enemies.
WeaknessesFine nerves and blood vessels grow through the main stalk of their back spines. They are not sensitive enough to sense fine temperature changes, however if a back spine is broken it is quite painful and the creanian will have a phantom pain in the broken spine.
Mutations
Abnormal Spike Growth; It is not uncommon for spikes to grow in abnormal areas, such as kneecaps, which mutate the way a creanian walks. These abnormal growths can become painful and even debilitating.
